Lansdowne-Where everything you come across is a sight to see!

Lansdowne, just as it's English style name suggests, was developed by the British. It has been an important place for the freedom fighters of our country during the British rule in India. At present, the main office of the Garhwal Rifles of Indian Army is situated here. Lansdowne can be called a hill station as well as a cantonment town.

Lansdowne

Lansdowne has got picturesque views everywhere. Though there are a lot of interesting tourist spots there but even the usual sights of nature present a scenic beauty in front of your eyes. This place is too cold during the winters and its chilly environment becomes a kind of adventure for the local people. In summers, the weather is just very pleasant to explore each and every corner of the place.

In this delightful hill station you come across a lot of oak trees and blue pine trees. The beautiful and colourful flowers, leaves and trees presents a lively natural scene in front of you. Such sights fill you with hope and energy that we are loosing constantly in today's rushy life. You can visit this little hill station at anytime around the year.
